I got introduced to HopeLovesCompany through the ALS golden chapter in California. They told me about Jodi who had lost her dear husband to ALS and since started a non-profit organization with the mission of providing educational and emotional support to children and young adults who had or have a loved one battling Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, ALS.
Well, last week I finally got to met Jodi and what an amazing human being she was. She was so passionate about her project it almost made me cry. The stories she told from the Camps and the response she got from parents and the kids where amazing and heartbreaking at the same time. Her mission is so important for families with ALS and having lost my dad to ALS I remember exactly how it was to deal with and I truly cant wait to meet all the kids on my first Camp in California.
The “Dino” in the picture, will be explained a little later 🙂
